Business Pro Phase 269

Wholesaler Role Boundary QA Gate

A business may claim it buys from manufacturers and supplies retailers, restaurants, shops, institutions, exporters, or street networks, but FAEDA must not treat that claim as verified distribution truth. Wholesaler power begins only after depot verification, source links, purchase records, GRN/stock gates, allocation gates, pricing controls, dispatch evidence, and payment/accounting approvals pass.

Phase rule

Wholesaler is distribution intent, not stock truth

Phase 269 designs the wholesaler role boundary QA gate only. It records whether a future FAEDA wholesaler route clearly separates wholesaler interest, distributor/stockist claim, warehouse/depot claim, manufacturer-source link, purchase receiving, stock intake, stock register, wholesale catalog, retailer allocation, trade pricing, credit terms, dispatch, returns, invoice, ledger, settlement, and Business Pro access. It does not create a wholesaler profile, approve a warehouse, verify stock, publish wholesale catalog, receive manufacturer goods, post stock, allocate goods to retailers, accept orders, issue invoices, activate credit, settle payments, or claim wholesaler runtime readiness. No real contact, CRM task, account creation, onboarding approval, listing activation, order, payment, wallet, commission, ledger, export, or partner sync is created in this phase.

Wholesaler proof

What wholesaler boundary QA must capture

Evidence chain

The wholesaler-boundary packet must reference Phase 268 manufacturer boundary, Phase 267 supplier boundary, Phase 266 shopkeeper boundary, Phase 265 customer boundary, and Phase 264 role-routing evidence.

Role state

The route must distinguish public visitor, wholesaler interest, distributor claimant, stockist claimant, pending wholesaler, verified wholesaler, approved warehouse/depot, and Business Pro wholesaler.

Warehouse boundary

A warehouse photo, godown video, visiting card, stock photo, invoice image, truck photo, rent note, or FAEDA Team note must not become verified stockist truth by itself.

Source boundary

Manufacturer links, supplier links, distributor agency claims, purchase history, inbound challans, lot numbers, and source certificates must remain draft/pending until procurement and GRN gates approve them.

Stock boundary

Available quantity, reserved quantity, batch, lot, expiry, damage, shortage, substitute product, unit conversion, and warehouse balance must not become inventory truth here.

Market boundary

Retailer allocation, shop terms, route territory, MOQ, bulk pricing, credit period, discount slabs, and private buyer terms require later commercial approval.

Operations boundary

Receiving, stock intake, stock register, dispatch planning, route loading, return handling, shortage handling, and claims must not activate from the role route.

Settlement boundary

Supplier payables, retailer receivables, credit risk, COD collection, partner payments, ledger posting, holds, disputes, and tax documents must remain later-gated.

Wholesaler controls

How the wholesaler role stays safe

1Wholesaler role QA must not click wholesaler dashboard, claim depot, verify warehouse, upload proof, publish wholesale catalog, receive manufacturer goods, post stock, set MOQ, set bulk price, extend credit, allocate to retailer, accept B2B order, dispatch goods, upload invoice, or request settlement controls.
2Wholesaler route must not treat manufacturer verification, supplier verification, shopkeeper verification, phone verification, FAEDA Team notes, public lead interest, product photos, old invoices, or stock videos as verified distribution capacity.
3Distributor status, agency status, warehouse address, stock count, purchase lot, landed cost, wholesale price, credit terms, route territory, retailer list, and availability must stay draft, pending, demo-only, or unavailable until later gates approve them.
4Receiving, stock intake, stock register, allocation, reservation, loading, dispatch, returns, shortage, damage, invoice, receivable, payable, ledger, and settlement paths must not display real totals or claim operational truth here.
5Source-to-wholesale mapping must not expose manufacturer costs, supplier terms, retailer private terms, margin structure, trade credit limits, stock movement, tax data, or protected distribution intelligence.
6Retail allocation, shop listing, customer demand, export buyer access, quotation, sales order, invoice, settlement, and payout views must not imply commercial or accounting readiness.
7Wholesaler surfaces must not expose supplier, manufacturer, retailer, shopkeeper, rider, FAEDA Team, partner, founder, admin, evidence/audit, or finance operations as normal wholesaler options.
8Safe wholesaler routing does not prove warehouse verification, stock truth, source truth, wholesale catalog runtime, retailer allocation runtime, dispatch runtime, credit runtime, invoice runtime, settlement runtime, or public upload readiness.
