Business Pro Phase 260

OTP Request Boundary QA Gate

Before FAEDA can send any OTP, the request screen must prove why the contact is needed, which channel will be used, what country or region is supported, what rate-limit and privacy rules apply, and what safe exit exists. Seeing an OTP request form does not prove delivery, verification, login, wallet, payment, or onboarding.

Phase rule

OTP request is consent evidence, not account proof

Phase 260 designs the OTP request boundary QA gate only. It records whether a future FAEDA phone or email OTP request surface is lawful, consent-aware, rate-limited, clearly labeled, role-neutral, country-aware, and separated from account creation, session creation, role onboarding, wallet activation, payment, payout, job, shop, supplier, rider, and founder/admin claims. It does not type a real phone number, email, CNIC, password, invite code, referral code, or OTP; it does not click Send OTP, Resend OTP, Continue, Login, Register, provider auth, guest continue, or QR actions; it does not send messages, create sessions, create accounts, verify identity, activate roles, or claim public launch readiness. No real contact, CRM task, account creation, onboarding approval, listing activation, order, payment, wallet, commission, ledger, export, or partner sync is created in this phase.

OTP proof

What OTP request QA must capture

Evidence chain

The OTP packet must reference Phase 259 auth entry evidence, Phase 258 permission evidence, and Phase 257 first-open evidence.

Channel clarity

SMS, WhatsApp, voice call, email, magic link, or unavailable state must be identified without sending anything.

Purpose copy

The screen must explain whether OTP is for login, registration, phone verification, email verification, password reset, invitation, or role onboarding.

Country support

Phone country code, Pakistan-first defaults, blocked regions, and unsupported-country states must be visible and honest where applicable.

Consent language

The form must state that requesting OTP may contact the user and must link to privacy or terms where applicable.

Rate limit

Cooldown, resend count, lockout, support escalation, and abuse-prevention copy must be recorded if visible.

Sensitive boundary

The screen must not ask for CNIC, bank details, address, documents, payment method, wallet PIN, payout details, or job approval before OTP verification.

Evidence masking

Screenshots must hide typed contact values, autofill suggestions, OTP inbox contents, cookies, tokens, and provider identifiers.

Request controls

How OTP request stays safe

1The tester must not enter a real or dummy phone number, email, password, CNIC, invite code, referral code, bank data, payment data, or OTP in this phase.
2The tester must not click Send OTP, Resend OTP, Continue, Login, Register, Verify, Magic Link, Use WhatsApp, Voice Call, Google, Apple, QR, or any provider action.
3OTP request must not imply account creation, identity verification, role approval, supplier approval, manufacturer approval, shop approval, rider job approval, wallet activation, SBP/partner payment readiness, payout readiness, or launch readiness.
4Phone OTP, email OTP, password login, provider login, guest browsing, and admin/founder access must remain visibly separate where they exist.
5Any OTP screen must expose safe back, help, privacy, terms, and wrong-number correction paths without pressuring the user.
6Rate limits must be designed for fraud protection and user dignity, not aggressive growth or repeated unsolicited messages.
7If the app proposes WhatsApp, voice, or SMS OTP, it must be labeled as future partner/provider behavior until runtime provider approval exists.
8A safe OTP request screen does not prove OTP delivery, callback intake, verification, session handling, RBAC, profile creation, wallet, payment, or public upload readiness.

Blocked automation

What this phase must not create

1Auto type phone number, email, password, OTP, CNIC, address, referral code, invite code, bank data, payment data, or any personal identifier
2Auto click Send OTP, Resend OTP, Continue, Login, Register, Verify, Magic Link, Voice Call, Use WhatsApp, Use Google, Use Apple, Scan QR, Guest Continue, or any auth/provider action
3Auto create session, create account, verify phone, verify email, request OTP, submit OTP, save credentials, accept terms, or open authenticated areas
4Auto select customer, shopkeeper, supplier, manufacturer, rider, FAEDA Team, partner, admin, founder, or any role onboarding path
5Auto enable listings, orders, reservations, quotes, payments, wallets, ledgers, payouts, refunds, support tickets, partner callbacks, analytics beacons, or public field-team campaigns
6Auto claim OTP request visibility means OTP delivery works, OTP verification works, account creation works, backend auth works, RBAC works, role onboarding works, wallet works, payment works, support works, or launch is ready
7Auto store typed contact values, OTP, inbox notification contents, autofill suggestions, cookies, tokens, session IDs, provider identifiers, CNIC, bank data, location, notifications, or billing details
8Auto erase unsafe-OTP, wrong-country, missing-consent, missing-rate-limit, early-CNIC, early-bank, provider-config, mixed-admin, or private-data evidence after a later pass
